GIS Day 2025 in Warsaw: from language models to spatial analysis

We took part in GIS Day in the Capital 2025, held in the historic Old BUW building of the University of Warsaw. The event brought together students, GIS enthusiasts and professionals from the GIS, AI and remote sensing sectors.

In the first panel, Hubert Skonieczny from our team gave a talk titled “From Language Models to Spatial Analysis”. He showed how language-model-based workflows support geospatial analytics, speed up data processing and open new ways of combining GIS with intelligent automation.

We thank the organisers, the student research groups from the University of Warsaw, Warsaw University of Technology, SGGW and the Military University of Technology, for an inspiring programme. We are glad we could show where AI-driven geoinformatics is heading and invite others to join us in R&D projects.
